Backyard Abundance presents: Seeds of Sustainability

The Iowa City based organization Backyard Abundance is hosting a 3-month series of programs: Seeds of Sustainability.  Events include lectures, film screenings, workshops and panel discussions.  Topics being covered include: edible forest gardens, benefits of gardening, ecosystem and landscape design, health and wellness, creating a sustainable community, enriching soil, low-maintenance gardens, creating habitats of high productivity and deep beauty.  All of this and much more, with a specific focus on practical solutions.

The program concludes on March 12-14 with a keynote presentation and workshop given by Dave Jacke, award winning author of Edible Forest Gardens.
